Trumpet players march in the TV spot formation on Friday Nov. 18, 2022 at the Marching Mizzou Practice Field during practice for the 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. It is the first appearance of Marching Mizzou in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
Francis Howell players display the MSHSAA Class 5 trophy after defeating Fort Osage 49-21 on Friday Dec. 2, 2022 at Memorial Stadium in Columbia. The win marked the Vikings’ first football state championship in school history. Francis Howell finished the season undefeated with a 14-0 record. Fort Osage finished the season 11-3.

The church invited MyCherie McEachern and other former preachers of Red Top Church to speak about their time with the congregation on Sunday Oct. 3, 2022 in Hallsville. McEachern served her first sermon on Oct. 5, 1980, and was the first female preacher for the region.
